Guardian Firewall + VPN is a free VPN for Android that blocks trackers and encrypts your traffic. Download APK for a secure, no-logs proxy. Try it now!
Guardian Firewall + VPN is a free VPN for Android that combines a powerful firewall with a secure WireGuard-based proxy to give you real control over your personal data. Unlike many free VPN services that sell your information, this app blocks trackers and unwanted connections while encrypting your traffic through a fast, no-logs tunnel. It automatically generates a random identity for each session, masking your IP address and device identifiers from third parties. You can choose your preferred region and transport protocol to unblock content without compromising speed or security. This VPN is ideal for users who want built-in ad and tracker blocking, or who need a reliable proxy to secure public Wi-Fi. However, its current user rating is low, and some users report frequent activation issues, a poor UI (no alphabetical exceptions list, no search, no pause option), and compatibility problems with Android, Fire TV, and Chromebook. If you're looking for a free VPN that prioritizes privacy over convenience, Guardian Firewall + VPN is worth trying. Download the APK from a trusted source to get started and enjoy a more secure browsing experience.
why do I need to sign up on. a vpn to use it why does everything now adays need signing up and log in that's crazy
works pretty good except for the fact that you cannot use any of your apps while it's working you have to literally hit exclusions which means those apps are not protected by the firewall or VPN just for the app to load and it doesn't matter where you got it set at you can have it send it the same state that you're in and it's still won't work. so guardian you need to up your game Aura works better than guardian or malwarebytes. got ripped off
doesn't work at all
doesn't work
no where to register for a account another scam app
Poor UI for eero users. Poor UI for exceptions - apps are not alphabetical and there is no search, it's unusable App breaks Google play store and with the above I could not get it to work. The app itself doesn't have a persistent notification or other way to pause (at least not for eero users) For my less tech savvy wife it's a non starter. I'm sticking with nordvpn even though this is included with my eero subscription. I hope this gets improved and I can increase my rating.
Here is a fix that works for me if you're stuck on the "Enable VPN" screen: Force-close the Guardian app. Turn on Airplane Mode for 10 seconds. Turn it off, wait for your data/Wi-Fi to reconnect, and try the app again.
another scam app no area to register for a account.
The Guardian VPN app has received overwhelmingly negative reviews, with many users reporting activation failures, poor user interface design, and lack of functionality. A small number of users found it easy to use and helpful, but the majority experienced issues such as inability to register, no password reset, and incompatibility with devices like Chromebook and Fire TV.
Based on real user reviews.
Yes, it is a free VPN, though some users note it may be available with an eero subscription. There are no upfront costs, but be aware of potential bugs due to its low rating.
The app emphasizes privacy with a no-logs policy, automatic random identity per session, and WireGuard encryption. However, it does not meet Google's new VPN standard for Android, so security may not be fully compliant.
You can download the APK from a trusted source and install it manually. Ensure you enable 'Install from unknown sources' in your device settings. Some users report activation issues, so you may need to restart the app if stuck on the Enable VPN screen.
The app allows you to choose your preferred region and transport protocol, which can help unblock content. However, user reviews mention low speed, poor connection, and incompatibility with Fire TV and Chromebook, so streaming performance may be unreliable.
