The Aloha browser has major playback issues on YouTube and other streaming sites. The native site landscape buttons are non-functional, forcing me to use the internal Aloha player. However, the Aloha player consistently hides subtitles on all sites, making it unusable for captioned content. Great browsing app. great for avoiding ads unnecessarily. only down side is the media player. the aloha media player doesn't allow the viewer to access subtitles or other vide media controls

not good android experience. I have been using aloha on my iphone and windows for over a year. 6m ago i started using in my tablet and found out that tab grouping is not available. i was told that tablet optimization is different and its in plan will get soon. just now i installed app in samsung S25 and here also not available.

been a user of this app on and off for what feels like a decade now. always been reliable, offered a free solution to my browser needs, doesn't require much effort to set up and the cost for premium on an annual purchase would always seem to come out with a rocking deal like 80% off at least a couple times a year and I would always capitalize on that for an amazing deal.

It supports custom filter lists, but what a shame, it doesn't have a function to update lists manually. There should be a function that will allow users set time(like every 1 hour, 3 hours, etc) and update all lists automatically according to that time. There also should be a button that will forcefully instantly update all lists.
