Wize AdBlock VPN

Lowered the stars because it started getting bugs when I changed phones. For some reason, when I open the app, it just flashes purple and black over and over and there's no way to actually use it. Hope it gets fixed soon "^_^ App isn't stable for newer devices currently.

I've been using this app since 2023, it has become my go-to app to block ads. I'm changing my review, though, as the past few days it seems to have stopped working with blocking pop-up ads. I hope this is updated soon, I will fix my review when it is, as this has worked wonderfully for 3 years

Honestly great! Has helped out a lot with blocking ads it also is super user friendly and just great overall doesn't block ads such as YouTube and that kinda thing but it's still fine and even if it did YouTube would just keep bugging me about it so I would prefer it doesn't anyway

Wize AdBlock VPN did not even start up upon opening the app. When I opened it, it just showed the logo, and a purple background. It did not load up at all. I tried clearing the cache but it showed as having 0 B already. I even tried to clear the storage of the app, but it still did not load up in any meaningful way. I can also assure you that my phone is NOT slow, so this is not an issue in terms of performance capability. Horrible first experience, takes up space, useless.

Doesn't work for everything but it worked for what I originally got it for in the first place so I don't mind, there are some bugs however occasionally it'll turn itself off and just recently whenever I had it on all my apps said I was offline lucky that problem was easily fixed by simply uninstalling and reinstalling the app but might be worth looking into by your team maybe?

it's an actual descent ad blocker, but It sometimes goes in and out then I decided to test it out and turns out it was only with games with a ton of ads and it forced the game to close pretty neat to say the least, they should do a sponsorship just get more people to use the app, hopefully they don't change up the app, just fix the little glitches that happens

UI is a direct copy of Blokada. 2 stars because it slowed down my system (which returned to normal when I replaced AdShield with another.) A good app. though. Will try using it again in the future when this is sorted out. RE-installed it again later, and it works great. Hence change from 2 to 5 stars.

11/9/24 It has literally been turning my internet connection off every time I turn it on. And it made me unable to connect to MyChart on my phone, so, not knowing what the problem was, I had to borrow other people's phones for a while until I figured out that it was this app keeping me from using something I need to be able to log onto for serious medical reasons. May 2026, I think it has been making my phone heat up. we had a great run, it blocked so many ads, but I must find something else.
