Mullvad VPN AB
Looking for a fast, secure VPN on Android? Download Mullvad VPN APK for no-log privacy, anonymous payments, and built-in ad blocking.
Mullvad VPN is a secure, privacy-first VPN built for Android users who want a fast, no-nonsense way to stay anonymous online without handing over personal data. Unlike most providers, it doesn’t ask for an email or password; you generate an account number, pay the flat €5/month fee, and you can even use cash or cryptocurrency for extra anonymity. The app uses WireGuard for fast, battery-friendly connections and includes built-in DNS ad blocking to stop ads before they reach your device. It runs on RAM-only servers with a strict no logs policy, making it a strong choice for users who value transparency and security. The interface is clean and easy to use, but the mobile version lacks some desktop features like multi-hop and custom ports. While many users report stable, fast connections, some experience random disconnections and persistent notifications. It’s ideal for privacy purists rather than heavy streaming or unblocking use cases.
I am getting better with this as there is a lot to get used to. I thought this app was disappearing from my phone and every time I came onto the Google Play store a show that it was there. when I started digging around I realized that the icon had changed. I don't know if that was for an upgrade or what but I like it now that I know what it is.
What's happening nowadays? It worked so well in the first 2 months. I need to connect via Germany server for work but over the past few days, it became very unstable and could not connect at all at times. Tried to report a problem via app, getting error message "failed to send". who will address my problem now?
Love the simplicity for login account. Not too much shared servers to pick from unfortunately but that's okay, room for improvement. Also it would be nice to have active window(like nordvpn uses) to quickly reconnect/disconnect, or go into the app and so that we know we are currently using vpn. Otherwise works amazing!
Can't connect to servers, unless I reinstall the app. After the last reinstall, I can't even login to my account anymore. Worthless...
First time using a VPN. Conducted some basic research. Mullvad was highly recommended. Very easy to set-up, and use. I have it on my desktop, laptop and tablet. All boxes ticked so far.
Seems to work very well. No change with how other apps work
I paid 5 Euros for one month's subscription but received nothing. I emailed them about it. But received a nonsense reply from a bot. Stay away.
was working fine for the first couple of weeks, but now nothing but connection issues. Bank apps and other apps refuse to connect with this vpn on, no matter what settings I change. Hope it's a temporary thing. I switched from Nordvpn, but I can't say I'm impressed right now.
Mullvad VPN is praised for its strong privacy focus, simple no-subscription pricing model, and reliable performance on many platforms, with users frequently highlighting its ad blocking and ease of use. However, a significant number of reviewers report recurring issues with random disconnections, intrusive or non-dismissible notifications, and bugs following updates. The mobile app is also criticized for being more limited in features compared to the desktop client.
Based on real user reviews.
Mullvad VPN is not a free VPN, but it has a simple flat rate of €5 per month with no subscriptions or auto-renewals. You can also pay with cash or cryptocurrency for more anonymity.
Yes. Mullvad is designed to be secure and private. It requires no personal information to create an account, uses RAM-only servers, and follows a strict no logs policy, so your online activity is not stored.
You can download the Mullvad VPN APK from trusted sources, enable installation from unknown sources in your Android settings, and install the app. Once installed, log in with your account number and connect.
Mullvad VPN can help you access some blocked sites and act as a proxy, but it is not specifically optimized for streaming or heavy unblocking. Some servers may be overloaded or blacklisted, which can affect access to certain services.
The Android app is fast and stable for most users, but it lacks some advanced desktop features like multi-hop and custom ports. Some users also report random disconnections and persistent notifications.
