Norton VPN – Fast & Secure

Works very reliably. I like the split tunnel. But lately, pausing a VPN connection is impossible. It reconnects instantly after trying to pause for 15 minutes. I've cleared my cache, restarted my phone, and even reinstalled the app. Nothing worked, so I have to Force Stop the app if I want to pause my connection. Not a great experience.

There's a reason no one mentions Norton when discussing good VPNs. The app is bare-bones, doesn't even have a quick settings tile to quickly enable or disable, just an oversized widget. I signed up for a year because there's no trial, discovered it won't suit my need, cancelled 15 minutes later and their support is telling me my refund case has been escalated and it'll take a week to hear back. Laughable, really. Do yourself a favor and pick another VPN.

Prior to 2 days ago, I would've gave 5 stars. But now I connect & within minutes, it disconnects on its own (no updates available either). Its super frustrating, I've paid for Norton for years & now thinking about deleting & trying something else. Also, let me add, I'm only experiencing this on my phone (uninstalled & reinstalled already), works fine on my tablet.

it's too easy for bad actors to disable key features of your software. if this were a free app it would be one thing but people are paying for this, you have to do better than that. Edit: you seem rather petulant for a security company. I've had two separate stalking incidents where they were able to tunnel straight passed your security on three separate phones.

So far all is well but I have said same words with another app and ended up with a few issues, so no eggs and chicken metaphors just yet, but I have to say so far very good even Great. Although still learning about Norton and how this app operates, I like what I have seen so far, it's little differences and details that I have been seeing that have gotten my attention so far I like it a lot. Hit me up in 6 months or so and will do another review. As for now Badass best sums it up in a word.✌️

One of the best VPNs (albeit a bit pricey) from one of the best companies in the buisness. Very simple and straight forward to use; you can select "Fastest Location" to automatically connect you to the fastest server based on your location or go manual and select a specific location (country) you'd like. Has some good features as well (i.e. auto-connect, ad tracker blocking, kill switch, etc.) Traveled the world and used it everywhere I went - Can never be too safe!

I like the safety and security it provides. What I DON'T like is that the auto-renewal is invariably much more expensive than buying a "new" Norton from Walmart. Canceling the auto-renew and waiting for you to offer to renew at, or close to, the Walmart price seems to the easiest way to get a decent price. I just wish you wouldn't play pricing games with the auto-renewal.

Since this app was updated to simulate a metered connection (i.e., mobile data), it has become a headache & caused issues with my other apps. For example, photos aren't backed up, podcasts aren't automatically downloaded, etc. because those apps are "waiting for a Wi-Fi connection" even when the device is connected. Please, please, please, fix the app so it no longer simulates a metered connection, or just make it an optional setting. If I'm connected to Wi-Fi, I want my apps to recognize that.
